About

NTBC and NACCIMA together with the Turkiye Department of Economic and Foreign Relations (DEIK)/TNBC, and the Turkiye Embassy Nigeria are set to leverage the successes of the TNBC/NTBC-NACCIMA Joint Business Forum and Country Presentation at TABEF 2023 by hosting over 100 Turkiye industrialists, manufacturers, investors, exporters, entrepreneurs, and over 200 of their Nigerian counterparts at a 3-day Nigeria-Turkiye Investment Forum and B2B Events 2024 to hold in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital City and Lagos the Commercial Trade Centre.

The event hopes to attract Turkiye Businesses to partner with Nigerian Businesses and also benefit from the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) by making Nigeria their export hub thereby taking advantage of Nigeria’s geographical advantage of being in the center of ECOWAS and the manufacturing hub for 14 countries, 350 million people, 250 million of which are Nigerians, 65% of whom are highly educated and skilled youth offering a sophisticated market, infrastructure in the 36 states and 774 local government areas, also offering the highest digital mobile coverage in Africa. The partnership between Türkiye and Nigeria will inevitably lead to inclusive growth and shared prosperity.

EVENT OBJECTIVES

  • Increase trade volume between Nigeria and Turkiye from 3 billion to 5 billion dollars
  • Create a platform for linking Turkish investors, manufacturers, and business people with Nigerian businesses seeking investors, joint ventures, partnerships, and cooperation for business expansion and new business ideas.
  • Support regional trade integration by encouraging the increased involvement of Nigerian and Turkiye businesses in intra-African trade
  • Promote the existing investment opportunities in Nigeria's diverse economy to potential Turkish exporters and businesspersons.
